A couple of weeks ago I arranged a photo shoot and got some special people involved šŸ™‚

I had been wanting to do my own photo shoot to a)Ā get creative & b) attemptĀ to useĀ off camera lighting.

I had some ideas in mind but the final ideas came about when the wonderful Jenna at Jenna Elizabeth Bridal in Preston allowed me the use of any her bridal gowns. My mind was working overtime and a plan was coming together. I scouted out someĀ accessories and found some lovely pieces at Miss Matilda’s Boutique in Preston along with some items begged, borrowed (but definitely not stolen!)

Whilst attending a bridal fair at Jenna’s bridal boutique I got chatting with Bev from Ashton Flower Shop, Helen (make-up) & Kerry (hair) who were all excited to come on board.

Finally, we found 2 models (thankfully Jenna & I have good friends!) Susie & Sarah. Susie owns Riverside Barn a lovely Bed & Breakfast in Ribchester and the perfect location for our shoot.

So on the 14th July we all met at Riverside Barn – despite bouts of torrential rain & thunder storms we managed to create some great images and here are some of the results, I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed creating them!

A BIG thank you to:

a special thank you to Andy, Susie’s husband for letting us take over his house for the day & for taking care of the children! Check out his amazing art work:
