In July I did Olivia’s second photo shoot at 4 months old.

Continuing with the year in protraits we come to June & a family photo shoot in Astley Park, Chorley.

Olivia’s first shoot of her first year. This shoot was a gift from a friend for Jo & Steve, Olivia’s parents. Jo & Steve wanted a record of Olivia’s first year in photographs so they booked for a bump to baby shoot – 4 shoots in the year. The last shoot will be Olivia’s first brithday.

I went to visit 2 old school friends in April.

I hadn’t seen Carol for some time, it was great to see her again & meet her lovely children. It called for an inpromptu shoot in their garden.

Then off to Surrey to meet up with Jo again. A lovely day spent with her & her fab children – we got some photos in their garden too. In August Jo & her family headed off to Singapore to live.

With no portrait shoots in February we move straight to March.

Two baby shoots, Finn (he was hiding in January’s bump!)!) & Grace

I had a bump shoot in January – mainly shot outside

I got quite good at blogging my weddings last year – portraits not so much!

Sometimes portrait shoots can be a surprise for a family member or friend so can’t be posted at the time – sometimes I just forget!

So I have put together some images from my portrait shoots of 2010.

First up: January

Sarah & John-Paul are getting married at the end of January at the delightful Hipping Hall near Kirkby Lonsdale.

We met the beginning of December at Avenham & Miller Park in Preston for their pre-wedding shoot.

I’m catching up on my pre-Christmas photo shoots.

First up is Alice & Tom who are getting married in a couple of weeks in Manchester, with their reception at The Lowry Theatre.

We met on a cold & frosty day in late November, in a Manchester park close to the church they will be getting married in.

Back in November I got together with a couple of other photographer friends to photograph some jewllery for Smita, a Manchester based designer & owner of Mara Creations

We had the privilege to use the old chapel at Gorton Monastery.

Gorton is a beautiful place which has recently become available for weddings. If you are looking for a venue in Manchester I would encourage you to check it out. (Their Christmas parties also looked fab!)

I was able to use some dresses from Jenna Elizabeth Bridal an online bridal shop selling some beautiful dresses at some great sale prices, if you are looking for an off the peg dress I would seriously check her out.

Thank you to MUA Clare for her wonderful hair & make-up skills & models Smita & Kay.

It’s been a while since my last post, album designs, Christmas & the flu all got in the way I have a few posts to upload over the next few weeks from shoots that took place at the end of last year. A few couple of pre-wedding shoots & portrait shoots which were surprises for Christmas so couldn’t be blogged till now.

I am looking forward to 2011 with plenty of weddings to keep me busy, first up is Alice & Tom’s wedding in Manchester on 22nd January follwed by Sarah & John-Paul’s wedding on 28th January. Can’t wait!

In the meantime – watch this space!
