Nick & Michelle are the cutest couple, their wedding day was full of smiles and a joy to photograph – the beautiful Autumn day helped too!

I had the fab Hannah second shooting with me again – whilst I was with the girls in the morning she was with the boys getting some great images.

great images from Hannah below – thanks Hannah 🙂

It was only a short ride down the road (yards) to the church of St Mary’s in Lea Town near Preston, but Michelle arrived in style in a Cadillac & late… bride’s prerogative 😉

The children on their lunch break in the school opposite had a great time cheering and clapping when Michelle arrived.

We were able to use the balcony in the church – so off Hannah trot up the steps to spend the ceremony up there, whilst I stayed at the back of the small, but perfectly formed church.

After the ceremony we all headed off to the gorgeous Mitton Hall Hotel, where the lovely staff treated us all very well.

Michelle & Nick had spent a lot of time & thought into the decoration of their reception venue – it looked stunning & I love the quirky touches -the candy bar was a huge hit

It was the only the second time I had done a wedding at Mitton when it hadn’t rained – so I was eager to get down into the garden and make the most of the autumn sunlight.

what a beautiful day! I’m looking forward to getting their album designed 🙂

It was a beautiful September day when Vic & Tom got wed – it really was the most stunning light – I was in my element!

They chose to get married at their local church , just a few yards from their flat in Didsbury. I arrived at the flat to take photos of Vic having her hair and make-up done. It was the perfect place with so much light available – I love light!

I was lucky enough to have the lovely and talented Hannah second shooting with me for the day – I’d left her at the Didsbury House Hotel with the boys where she got some great shots as well as at the Didsbury pub 🙂 thanks Hannah!

I left for the church to meet up with Hannah – there was an Arts Festival being held in the Parsonage Gardens opposite the church and guests were treated to fab jazz as they arrived.

Vic & Tom had asked their very good friend, who is the vicar of a parish in Cambridge, to marry them,  this made the cermony so personal and intimate,

After the ceremony guests were treated to a champagne reception in the church, whilst we took a few photos.

After a confetti fest! Vic & Tom made their way to the Didsbury House Hotel whic was just up the road. In fact it was so near they chose to walk!

The Didsbury is a beautiful boutique hotel, perfect for an informal wedding reception. Instead of a traditional cake Vic & Tom had chosen a cake of cheese – perfection! I love cheese – so this was right up my street.

I’m on  blogging fest at the moment trying to get my recent weddings blogged this week!

First up is Lindsay & Neil’s gorgeous September wedding at the fab Bartle Hall near Preston.

Poor Neil ended up in hospital just a few days before the big day, but he made it to the wedding, thank goodness!

It was a great day, weather was perfect and everyone looked amazing. Lindsay had chosen a different style dress for each of her bridesmaids which worked so well. They each had a fascinator in their hair, and the flower girls were mostly impressed with their flashing shoes!

The guests were well fed by the great staff at Bartle and enjoyed music by the band Ipso Facto in to the night.
